Sentinel for iOS will be free on launch for anybody who downloads it on the App Store, and Sentinel for Mac will be free on my website once I am ready to release it.

The site is Software by GL — where “GL” stands for Gold Life. Here is what that means to me and why I build it.
When visitors arrive here, the natural question is: “What does the GL stand for?” The initials stand for Gold Life — my personal software and AI ecosystem. By trade, I’m a native Apple-platform software engineer with nearly five years shipping enterprise fintech software across iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch at OpenPath Products. But software engineering is also my creative passion outside of work — my digital workshop where I build without shortcuts.
I call this environment the Gold Life— not after wealth, status, or an agency, but because I believe surrounding yourself with calm, thoughtful, native tools elevates everyday life. In my craft, “Gold” represents the Gold Standard: clean architecture, zero hidden defects, uncompromising privacy, and tactile luxury engineered natively in Swift and SwiftUI.
Everything under Software by GL is built for my own daily life first. Sentinel and My Business share one single Gold Life ID, one unified design language, and the same zero-knowledge cryptographic vault. When a tool reaches a standard I love living with every day, I polish it and release it to the App Store so anyone who values that same high standard can enjoy it too.
